Question on Kev's dual mic pre

Hi,
I would like to build a Kev's dual mic pre.

On this page, Kev says that the consumption is about 40mA per rail.
Does it mean, 40mA per Channel? (sorry for my poor english! )

Is a +-15V, 100mA power supply enough for 2 channels?

"per-rail" means for both +15 and -15V supply lines. And yes, for a dual version, 100mA is fine in any case..

I was looking at this preamp as well....is it a nice sounding pre? Is there a commercial pre out there that you'd compare it to sound wise?

Some A*mek/Tac boards like the Scorpion use this pre.
