Racking Telefunken w695 and Danner Modules in General

I think I'm way too dense to understand the elegance of German engineering.  How are you supposed to affix and mount these into a standard rectangular panel cut out?  I'm not getting this welded and riveted bracket deal;  I'm just about to rip it out with 'Merican brute force!

Hey it's actually really simple

There are standoffs which you can drive out by using the screw on the front. Set everything in place like you want it then fit it through the cutout and then use the screw and turn it back CCW until the standoff comes out and locks behind the panel.
