Radial = Jensen DIY!!!???

Does any one have one of the Radial DI boxes? Someone on the TapeOp board said they're the same circuit as the Jensen plans on their page. I was thinking of buying one of the Radial DI boxes, or building a couple of the Jensen boxes.

If there the same thing, I could make a couple of the Jensen's for the price of one Radial.

I've had very good experience with Radial products. I have the Bassbone preamp/switcher/DI (not quite sure how to describe it) and it is excellent. I've seen the Radial DI and it's built like a tank, though I haven't used it. I've also built passive DIs from the plans on Jensen's website with excellent results. Either way you really can't go wrong.

Not a bad box.
One of the best ones out there.
The active 48V powered one has one problem.
It puts out a boat load of a signal. Very hot.
I think sometimes you do not need a PA system.
The bass player will not let me take it apart, sorry guys!
