Hi guys,

I had a question about re soldering a signex cpt96 patchbay from normal to half normal.

The patchbay has some solder points on top, where if you solder certain points it creates a connection between two metal plates to direct the signal in certain way. Does anyone know if it's possible to get the solder off these points and re solder others ?
Is there a special technique to doing this , or is it even possible ?)

Thanks a lot,

Brett

You probably don't need to unsolder anything, which is the worst part, just link the normal point to the half normal and that should work. Normal points are disconnected when a plug is inserted, half normal point remains connected, so nothing bad will happen if you join those two points, just work as half normal, plus if you want to go normal again you just need to cut the jumpers.
