Hello all. I'm finding more and more that I need a good oscilloscope for the various projects I'm working on. I'm a bit spoiled, as I've worked in R&D labs in the past, and had access to all kinds of digital o-scopes, all WAY out of my price range. I'm thinking a good two channel scope with basic triggering should cover my troubleshooting needs for the tube and solid state audio circuits I'm working with. Any recommendations for some older scope models I might find on EvilBay or other good used equipment sellers? Thanks!!

Just a few to get you started. There are many more...

(There should really be a "Tools and Test Equipment" Meta).

Thanks! I'm keeping my eye on a Tek 468 that looks nice. Has a cursor measurement function that could be useful. Sounds like the 22** scopes are a better idea, though, since the 400 series are so old now. Wish me luck!

tecktronix has a pretty good repair policy. flat rates. we have 6 of them for repair and they are going to replace them with newer models for $160 each. cant beat that.
