Hi everybody!
I'm about to recap the power supply from a KSG 625 small console i have.
It's a mid-seventies, discrete, transformer balanced, "portable" console, made in east Germany, by VEB Studio Elektroakustik.
I'm a bit stuck though, since on 2 of the capacitors (1000uf/35V) is written : "-Pol am Geh.", which i guess means " -Polarity on housing".
There is only one soldering leg at the bottom of the capacitor and then there is a ring at the base of the aluminum can, that's soldered to the rest of the network.
How should i replace these? Should i find the same type of capacitors or could there be another way?
Any info on this type of electrolytic capacitors would be really appreciated, since it's the first time i see them.
Here are a couple of photos:
Thanks a lot!
