All "board only" orders have shipped. OK, panel update: They are here. I'm gonna have an aneurysm by the time this is over. I need everyone to please chime in what they want me to do here. There are a couple issues I'm not thrilled about. It's nothing massive, but I'm a perfectionist with these kind of things and I want everyone to be happy. I might be making it more of an issue than it actually is. I'm waiting to hear back from the screener now to get some answers why there's any issues at all, but that doesn't really help the current situation. All things considered, they look pretty damn nice, but here are the issues I have:
1) There's a slight L/R registration issue, it's around .5mm or so. Looking at the pic now it's not that bad, but it's noticable to me. You can see what I'm talking about in the "hpf" and "gain" pics. It's possible if you wanted to drill open the holes a bit - would allow you to shift the control panel over a hair more for perfect alignment.
These other 2 are probably me being nitpicky, but
2) There's a tiny bit of "staircasing" going on in the vertical line on the "level" box. I would have liked to see it a little sharper there. This is probably me nit-picking, you have to really hold it up to your eye and stare to even notice it, it's not really even distinguishable in the pic.
3) The .9 circle above the release knob has a tiny little black spec on some of them. It looks like a spec of something got on the film during the screening process. Again, it's tiny, but it's there and I notice it, and so should have the screener. I could send these ones back for touchup if anyone would like me to, but will delay me from being able to ship.
