I've had a Tektronix tds460 for a few years that finally died last night. It was out of calibration, then the psu started making noise, then it wouldn't turn on anymore.
I'm shopping around and looking for recommendations. There are a lot of model numbers in the Tektronics line up.
Preferences for the older type digital scope (TDS460) vs the new benchtop digital phosphor type (TDS2014)?
I would like a reliable 4 channel unit, prefer color, and am not particularly concerned with high bandwidth.
I'd like to spend $1000 or less.
