Self-racked x-rack EQ and LEDs light up the wrong way

Hey there,

I did as some might have noticed a custom ssl frankenstein box. One of the modules is the x-rack EQ.
Just hooked the EQ up this evening and curiously, when no buttons are engaged, all the leds are activated.
However, when I press the knobs, the leds go off = meaning that it's completely the opposite.

Do you got any idea what that is so?
