I never tried those, but thanks for sharing as it looks pretty interesting, it's pretty cheap and will fit an XLR barrel. Quite nice

I had one of these in a KMS105 rip-off. Basically BM800 circuit. I modded them for low noise, another FET, usual BM800 stuff...

Were they good with your modifications? They look really promising for people that want to experiment with making electret SDCs.

Ah, right. I think I assume they're much worse than they are because of the component choices in a lot of the cheap BM700s and 800s, especially the ones that seem like they're using knock off components. IMO they should just start including better components and increase the price a bit. I'm sure plenty of people would pay the extra few bucks, I know I would.
