Well the last time I challenged an aliexpress purchase I lost. I bought a set of speakers for my laptop that showed 2 tweeters and a woofer. and listed it by parts numbers but they only sent the tweeters but ali said it was a stereo set haha

This should be some kind of variant, very disappointing, the connector is not consistent with the original, Tuchel is the charm, this price is not attractive enough.

Arrived. Initial impressions are pretty positive. Body tube is a good weight and thickness, not overly heavy but not thin or ringy. Threads are all solid, some are a bit burred but not to the extent that things hang when threading them together. The swivel mount joint is a good tension out of the box but is slotted to allow tightening / loosening if needed.

As expected the "switch" is nothing more than a plastic ring with a cardioid sticker.

They did include a spring for the cable outlet, which I didn't expect so that was good. I thought at best there would be a rubber boot, spring is a nice surprise.

I don't love how the female side of the connector is held in place on the swivel, which is with set screws. The insert itself is threaded, but the swivel does not have any threading so set screw it is.

Here's some pictures:

Nice!

Why would they even put the switch there in first place 😅

Do you have any idea yet about how it fits some of the PCB’s typically used (Dannys, Matadors)?
I have asked the seller for dimensions without any luck so far.

I just got mine today too. Shipped October 14th and arrived in Los Angeles today, the 16th. Crazy fast!
Agreed with @SubSpec 's observations. Here are some more photos and comparing to the thicker, yet cheaper, other Ali body. The rails appear to be the same height as the other body so I'm going to try to apply @HerbertR 's advice to make the @poctop PCB fit

Is this deceptive or is the brass microphone body way thinner in terms of wall thickness than the solid tubular body of the basic version we used for the build? The price is also not really attractive 🤨
Just my two Eurocents...
