Hi, Looks like this is the way to do it then, it's identical to the method in the pdf quoted above (also from Studer though: page 5 of ftp://ftp.studer.ch/Public/SwissSound/SwissSound18eFeb87LR.pdf ) but at least it's then not just some 'incidental advice'.
