Spam is kinda gross when you think about it...but it really does not taste all that bad to be honest.

  I beg to differ! It has such an insipid bland processed taste and especially feel . . . . . Actually I havent HAD to eat any since about 1976! ;D ;D ;D



        Strangely enough, I love Corned beef . . .go figure!

Love the pork roll (as named in PA)/ Taylor ham (NY).
My Dad hated SPAM from the Air Force, but MAN did we eat a lot of "TREAT" during the Ford/Carter years.

Spam would be a delicacy compared to the left over from Korea (i hope) C-rats they fed us in the army. Got some in germany that were probably WWII vintage. 

Spam is still considered a delicacy in Hawaii and Guam.

Opinions vary, I had to force down some scrapple to be polite when visiting my old boss's parents in small town PA.

No desire to revisit that culinary treat.
