SSM 2018 chip sub?

Have an AEQ BC300 broadcast mixer with 6 channels down. I think VCA chip SSM 2018 is culprit. Very difficult to find (I need the 2018P that uses external trim). Any ideas on possibly a substitute that could suffice?

Do you really need the trim version?

I thought the "trimless" version was trimmed internally at the factory and worked same-as for most purposes.

According to ADI, there are two versions: TP and the P varieties (there are some with Z added to end as another standard).
ADI still has some of the TPZ in stock, but the T specifies "does not need external trimming" as set at factory. The P version "requires external trimmer circuit". I believe my schematic shows a trimmer in the circuit, and also just lists it as 2018.
I was able to find a company, UTSource.net, that carried them, and no minimums. About 7.50 each. I paid for FedEx express shipping, so we'll see how long it takes to get them...
