Having cleaned the studio/workshop to create room to whip the iron out for a few builds, I had a pile of random crap I've been carting around for decades... nostalgic stuff...

Then a light bulb moment...

"Ahh, that's why I've been holding onto these cd cases..."...

Oh, and my other revelation in recent builds, also from my pile of miscellaneous crap!...

I have no decent wire stripper for small gauges... as it turns out, this cheap cigar clipper is perfect! Not sharp enough to cut the actual wire easily, but grabs nicely and super ergonomic! Works perfect on solid or stranded... what a win lol...
