Searching for a schematic & infos about the Studer VCA. Internal Studer number is 1.010.110.50
It was used in various devices, including the Studer 1.911.210 VCA fader.
Later then replaced by a new one with a different number. On the new one 2 DBX 2150's connected in parallel and it is also smaller with less connection pins.
I think that this one is similar to the VCAs like the Neumann VCA101 or the Lawo 325/2.00.0.

Thanks

This is a sub card/daughter pcb usually mounted vertically, AFAIK Studer never release the schematic for this one.

It may not be that hard to RE (However I never take the time to do so), some are potted around the half dozen transistors populated (which is more a thermal coupling I guess), there is also one or two ic like 4558.

The 4 I have sit on my master bus comp, which is an custom 4k design. Happy with them...

Hey Zam,

Thanks! Yes, you are right. Found a drawing in the 1.913.155 Compressor / Limiter / Noise Gate docs.
