Does this work given there is a make-up amplifier as the next stage? Expandable up to 8 or more channels?

My idea is to use it straight from preamp outputs or converter line outs. Drum summing out of a DAW or guitar bus or mixbus etc.

R6 & R7 are dual gang; so are R12 & R13. T1 and T2 are 10k:600 maybe?
The dual gangs would work as pan controls here, correct? Full CW goes to L and full CCW goes to R, while presenting a large impedance to the opposite channel.

10k in and out of the Hpad, but how do I choose a dual gang value? 100k seems like it would present a large impedance to the right channel when panned hard left. So larger value would mean wider mix right? A 20k pot in the middle would show 10k in series with the pad output so 20k in total both legs until you pan hard one way or the other. Then you're back to 10k on one side and 30k on the other. Is that correct logic and enough impedance (30k) to give a reasonable width?
