Hey Guys,
Weird title I know, but 2 bands I produced and engineered records for just landed their songs in this years Sport Illustrated Swimwear Issue. One of them, Irvine even landed their song 'The Chase' for the Cover model, Candice Boucher's promo video, the other Gravity Wins Again landed their song 'Bail Me Out' in Olivia Garson promo vid.
If you want to admire my work (the music anyways!) you can see/hear them here: http://www.sportsillustrated.co.za/swimwear/swimwear2010/
While there isn't any nudity, it may not be safe fore work, as there are scantily clad swimwear models.
Both those records were done at my old studio, using 90% DIY gear I built myself or modules I racked up.
In other news, I'm also excited about Annie Lennox's new record, 'A Christmas Cornucopia', which drops November 15th.
I had the pleasure of recording several of the parts of the record, all the African Choral bits, percussion and a couple of Annie vocals (trust me, it was both amazing and scary in the same breath!). I noticed she just released this promo video for the record and I feature in it several times behind the console.

This probably explains why I've not had much time for DIY of late...
Cheers
