A little background:
I am coming into the homestretch for my Ray Wilson Soundlabs Mini-Synth. I just need to finish wiring the pots and switches. I assembled and glued up my encolsure that I'm making out of red-oak. Any ideas for a stain color? Then I have a really nice aluminum face panel I powder coated black and had a vendor screen print all the labeling. I'll post pics really soon because I'm quite proud of how it's coming along.

Anyhow, I was thinking that eventually I'll build the Mixer and the Step Sequencer. Then I got to thinking about the Mixer and some modular synth modules I remember seeing on ebay that were called "multipliers". These take 1 in and multiply it to 4 out. I think he had others, but I can't find them now.
So I was thinking on making another box for a custom mixer specifically for taking the Mini's output, multiplying it and then running them through the mixer. The mixer will need to be mod'd to be 4x mono instead of 2x stereo as it is now. Then I will need some detuning controls. Which is what I don't know how to do yet.
Does anyone have a schematic for a detuning circuit? Or maybe some ideas on this aside from that. Perhaps another way. I wan't to have the ability to have big and bold sequenced synth lines. I think with the sends in the mixer I could really do some good things. A little delay, Ray's 8 stage phaser, some distortion, maybe a filter or chorus or something else.

Ideas, thoughts, comments?

The modules you've seen are multiples. All they are is a bunch of jacks connected together, almost never any active circuitry involved.

From what you've described it sounds like you basically want a chorus unit.
