The board is designed to work this way, oddly. The odd and even channels are assigned left and right respectively. In order to get a stereo assignment through the monitor buss the channel must be assigned to both an odd and even channel in the matrix. Or, one could use a stereo Aux send. Seems strange to me, but there you have it.
