TC Electronic M-One display issue

I received a TC Electronic M-One from a friend with 'a display problem'.
In fact, the display works (kind of), but the top left part shows no information.
I have already cleaned the zebra strips, without any improvement.
Is it the display itself, or is it the controller?
Does anybody have experience with this?
The sad thing is that the device works as it should, but without displaying everything it does...

Sorry Ruud,

Don't now the unit , but see info on all parts of the display , so I would look at the controller.

Look for the parts that make up the info you are missing.
