Just wanna share racking this great channel strip with you guys...

Mic preamp channel strip from old Tesla Mixer EPP102 (mic pre + very functional EQ).
It is a clone of Neve BA283 with EQ stage.
Exellent character vintage tone!

All thanks to Ungifted....

What makes you say it's a BA283 clone ?      I racked some Tesla mic amps (EMR 425) that were "supposed" to be like API a few years back for a client.  They sounded nice, but were not particularly like an API sound wise or electronically other than that they were mic amps. Your channel strip looks remarkably  like it's from the same series of console.

I'm sure your channels strip sounds great but I'm just interested to know whether it is all individual transistor or whether it has the unusual op amp that is in a metal can like the mic amps I racked.

Rob, it's schematics looks like BA283 stage. :)

Yes it is made to look like from console...

Custom colour and custom front panel for racking!Front panel was printed on copier that look like orginal...

I will take some pictures inside....

The input bares similarities, but the output stage isn't much like a BA283, where the output transformer is the collector load of the 3055 transistor on a BA283.  This is where the BA283 is different to many other circuits.  ButI bet it's a nice piece of kit regardless.  Thanks for sharing the diagram.

Apologies for bumping an old thread, but I have just been re-gifted a pair of these channels that I got in a trade maybe ten years ago and forgot about. It seems like they are probably worth racking up. Unfortunately the schematic in the thread that @ungifted linked to seems to be blank. Does anyone have one? And are these units happy feeding a typical line input on an audio interface or similar without an additional output stage?
