I have been listening to various releases/versions of "AC/DC - Back in Black".
Then in the end, I asked myself: "Who has recorded those chiming bells of 'Big Ben' in London, UK".
Seems like I found the answer to my question by visiting 'wikipedia':
"the sound of the bell was recorded by Tony Platt using Ronnie Lane's mobile studio".

First warning to Self: always 'question' who provided the info @wiki; is it trustworthy?
Now, i still don't know which microphones/cables/recorders were used. Not my fetish right now.
So, if anybody knows more about this recording. Please share your insights.
