Currently I'm working mostly on guitar speaker cabinets for tube amplifiers, so I would be making guitar amp faceplates for sure.

If someone can come up with a prototype, design a PCB, I could do the fabrication, assemble kits and do the shipping.

[If someone can come up with a prototype] -- I can perform the mechanical design of brackets/chassis/panels and create the 3D CAD-models of them.









[design a PCB] -- I can also design the PCB's as well. But, I need 3 primary items: 1) A clear and completed schematic diagram, 2) The mechanical dimensions of the board-outline, mounting hole locations and sizes and 3) The "Manufacturer's Part Number" for all of the electronic and electro-mechanical components. This is so I am able to identically match the schematic symbol to the physical component size on the PCB.











[I could do the fabrication] -- The current "thing" with the -- low-volume/prototype -- sheet-metal shops that I use is their ability to be able to directly import a variety of CAD-files into their sheet-metal fabrication equipment. Most of the sheet-metal shops that I am familiar with are able to import both a -- STEP or STP -- file and/or a -- .SLDPRT -- file from the SolidWorks 3D CAD-modeling program. Can you do this as well? If not, find out how you can!!!

[Any news on this?] -- Apparently NOT!!! ..... I am rather surprised that after all of the responses from other members, including myself, who have offered to join-in and help this guy out, that.....he just disappeared!!! There hasn't been any kind of a follow-up response from him since February 8th of 2024. Maybe he went bankrupt or something.

He was offering a niche type of service that many of the members on this forum could certainly use, so I am personally interested in learning whatever the reasons are for him not to follow-up and/or pursue his offerings. Maybe the economy over there in Germany isn't so good. I don't know.

In any case, should any of you -- GroupDIY'ers -- who are reading this need anything designed similar to what you see in my Post #23 .....contact me!!! In addition, I also now have two separate programs that can import GERBER and N/C Drill data files and analyze them for a variety of PCB-fabrication issues. And, I also now have a very specialized program that can.....as an example..... import PDF files and convert them over to GERBER files. Here is a list of what this specialized program I have is able to convert:

Consider clinching fasteners into front panels.

I like to use concealed head studs and standoffs they allow parts to be attached on the inside of the panel without leaving a trace on the outside.

If you already have a cnc milling machine then all you need is a small press.

[Consider clinching fasteners into front panels] -- I use various types of PEM-hardware in all of my sheet-metal designs. Take a look at my Post #23 earlier in this thread -- PEM-nuts, PEM-standoffs and other doo-dads!!! I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT PEM-hardware!!!
