Here was a couple decades of obsolete computers and bench test gear, that I carried around the country with me for far too long.

I still have piles of stuff to throw away.

The stuff one has to throw away is the stuff one bought (or got). Buy only what is really needed, and favor secondhand whenever reasonable. Favor quality over cheap it will be cheaper eventually, in most cases, and less landfill. Its against culture and economy politics so not the easiest path to come up with and follow. If you are reading this your quality of life is propably better than most of the people in this planet already, you don't actually need anything other than basics: food, shelter and love.

ps. my kids tend to sing tunes they have heard from commercials, its scary.
