I was reading the thread and was like I need that book. Then I get about 4 threads down to find out that the author has passed away. Well I'm without words.

Hopefully his 3 sons? and his wife are being taken care of.

I would still be interested in his book, and through it his legacy may somewhat live on.

It looks like he published the book himself?

I tried to goggle around for the book and came up with only a couple of references of it on some pages. Anyone have any leads on a place I can buy the book please let me know.

Many o fus here have the book but for obvious reasons cannot just give it.

I can tell you that if you want to build an LA2A you do not need this book. I never used it. All the info you need is here.

If you need any help let me know.

I have the real book, I made 3 LA2a clones from it.

The thing is the book had alot of mistakes in it. So if you had the book then you had to dig up the correct revisions to make the circuit work. At one time I think there was a website devoted to the corrections.

I really think all the info is available in the Lab, I'd rather do my next one with a turrett board anyway, which is what I saw over there. I also think someone had designed a circuit board for this as well which might be ok, I really prefer point to point though.

I agree with the turret baord way of building this project. Much neater. Having said that, I have the " How to build a tube compressor/limiter " CD and if anyone wants it they can have it for mailing costs. Just PM me.
