Tube Mic Circuit without Power Supply?

I found one of these microphones on aliexpress while looking for U87 clones, and it looks like it has a tube in it, though it has a 3 pin XLR output. Maybe the tube is just for the appeal but there is no way it is getting powered by 48v. Can anyone explain this circuit?

I think this tube is not really a part of the mic circuit. The grid or anode at the tip of the tube is not connected.

To me it looks like a television rectifier tube(?).
I suppose they put in any tube they have available, just for the 'visual effect'...
