Hi,

I couldn't find any info here, so I am just going to ask; I was wondering, is the TUBE-TECH PE 1C similar to the Gyraf PEQ1A EQ? I just saw that TUBE-TECH has also the ME 1B MIDRANGE EQUALIZER in their product range. I assume (maybe incorrect?) that this one is similar to the Gyraf Pultec MEQ5? Thanks in advance!

All the best, David.

yes, similar, but Tube Tek uses vacuum tube op amps for gain.

off topic but here is the MEQ line schem i just scanned a few days ago:

noticed the direct coupling on the aq grid

Hello,

this single-ended amplifier was used in Pultec EQH-2 Program Equalizer as well.
