Urei 565 Little dipper problem

Hi!
I was cloumsy enough to let my Nagra tapereel touch my Urei 565 and the Nagra has the polarity the other way around. So yes, there was a spark between them..
After the incident, the Urei 565 is defect. It power up, but I can just get some transients out of a kick drum through it.
Does anyone have an idea where to start?  Oh yes, I feel a bit stupid

Hello

You mean power supply rail polarity ?
This should not affect chassis contact...which are all hooked to ground...
You have a faulty somewhere that has been revealed with this contact

Hm yes that is what I thought, that the chassis has different polarity. The Nagra went out ok, but problems with the Urei. I’ll do some metering to see If something is obvious.
