Vu meter needle alignment?

Hi everyone,

My Chandler Mini Rack Mixer left channel Sifam Vu Meter's needle is positioned slighty above 0 when no audio is passing through or turned off. The right channel is right on point.

Is possible to align it manually to 0 to have both channels calibrated equally?


(Could not find the VU's reference on Sifam documentation but here is the actual model)

Zero adjuster is most probably on the rear side of the meter.

Hi @moamps, forgot to look at the back! Here is a picture of the meters' backside, where would the adjustment be located? Thanks!

You need a flat screwdriver, this small black ring is probably the mechanical zero adjuster.

Thanks, took the pic a while ago, I'll open the box up and try to adjust

Most meters have the zero adjust on the front , try prising out that rubber or plastic stopper to the left and right of the meter movements and see whats underneath . Going at it from behind you could very easily make a hames of it.
