Am wondering what y'all think of these boards?

If it's like the one I worked on in the 1970s, LM318 opamp in the input circuit (!), 4156 quad in the EQ sections, and I forget what else. The output amp had a couple of extra transistors inside the loop to beef it up.

All opamps were socketed, nice if you wanted to mess around. I replaced the 4156s with TL075s (hard to find these days), and it improved the sound a lot.

Nice board. The output was unbalanced (or maybe impedance balanced), though, and Pin 3 was hot. Their 1980s boards were even nicer, really good-sounding, and fully balanced-and-floating outputs.

At least, it has good construction, knobs, holes for pots, meters, sockets, probably good mic transformers, lot of pots and switches may be good...

Nice foundation for a very good project! :thumb:
