Yes I've been to vegas and trust me they are watching every move inside the casinos... If patrons demand security they will get it, but i am just speculating...

Of course, if there's a sufficient amount of people demanding metal detectors they'll do it. But just consider an average visitor;

- You get to the airport in your hometown; metal detectors etc...
- You get off the plane feeling dirty, at hotel another detector / search for check in
- You go out for a meal, come back to the room... searches...
- You go out to gamble, come back... searches...

etc

Even if they started doing that I think it'd be a problem because people would be annoyed.

PS: Rather than attacking the integrity of the tens of millions of Trump voters (roughly half the voting population), maybe evaluate all the political elite who both underestimated him, and misread the mood of the electorate who are fed up with the status quo.

Trump was never underestimated. What was underestimated was the chances of him winning, in part because some politicians overestimated the American voting public.

Trump voters don't care if he lies or speaks the truth, if he insults ethnic minorities or religious minorities, if he cozies up with white supremacists during the campaign trail and then says some are very fine people... They seem more worried about not having to be "PC".

To you it's a set of different priorities, and to me that's duly noted. But I'm brown skinned, so I actually give a crap about these sorts of things.

Like I said: To those who still are Trump supporters there don't seem to be a line that he can cross that would make them give up support. I don't know if it's indoctrination, stupidity or actual conviction that's behind it... or something else. But I really do believe that people, like you, would as he said still support him even if he went out on the street in broad daylight and shot a person. "People" would want to wait for news about what really happened, because the liberal mainstream media is full of "fake news", and people like Pucho would probably post some ludicrous completely unsubstantiated claim from some nutty outlet placing the blame elsewhere. And then at the end it would still have been a better choice than Hillary because.... well, because f-u, that's why....

Source does not matter.  they do not post here. As for trust, I have no reason not too but I do have doubts about their information. Nothing further investigating can't solve.

See? You learned absolutely nothing from this. Nothing.

I learned plenty, like how you like to argue.  ;)

Yeah, atta-boy.... you'll be back spreading misinformation again because your kind never learn or care.

Looks to me like liberals are getting in pucho's head.

The shooter who did such a heinous act, leaned liberal. If you read any part of his Facebook page
he is proud to be a democrat

and watches the rachael meadow show.

maybe meadow is the problem? maybe we need to ban democrats or trump needs denounce them?

Yeah, atta-boy.... you'll be back spreading misinformation again because your kind never learn or care.
That chip on your shoulder must be playing up again?

Someone else you fell out with?  Getting to be a habit I guess. :(

When I see someone with 9090 posts under their belt I give them some respect.

You can  be pleasant to people, even if you don't agree with them, its called maturity, that is how I tolerate your rudeness.

Was I talking to you Dave?

You being so passive-aggressive makes you a bit of a hypocrite you know.

When I see someone say they'll vote for the president that said there were very nice people among those chanting "Jews Will Not Replace Us" I think they deserve absolutely zero respect.

I don't give a crap about whether or not you think I'm rude Dave.

You were rude to me months ago for absolutely no reason, and since then your opinion about me means zero.

If it makes you feel any better I think of both you and John as "very nice people". Make of that what you want.

well old dog new trick syndrome... Not sure what my kind is exactly.  From the looks of things it appears my kind is people who do not agree with you and we are in the wrong purely for the fact we do not agree with you.  While I did  take steps to correct the statement on page 1 to you that is not good enough. To my kind, we all make mistakes, move on it's why pencils have erasers. But since you were so nice to point about friendly banter,  I really think you should look that up to understand what it means.

I said your kind won't change because you won't. Months and months ago you posted nonsense about someone, I believe it was Hillary, and I questioned your source and looked at it myself and I got zero response from you. Nothing. You apparently didn't re-evaluate your vetting process when it comes to finding information, and you won't now either. It's a sure thing.

So, we'll be in this situation again.

Pretty sure I wasn't the one talking about friendly banter.

JK Pucho......

I don't like "Politically Correct", because we shouldn't shy away from the truth just because we risk offending people...

...unless we end up being rude, then we should be "PC"...

I guess I'm just trying to figure out just what the 'rules' are here.... is it who is saying it, or is it what's being said?....

Do you have this nonsense? while I am sure I probably said it, when it comes to her I am sure it was warranted.

It may actually have been a different person and not Hillary, possibly connected to Hillary and/or the Clintons. I honestly can't remember the exact name. All I remember is that it was pretty much the same thing.

Go search for it if you care.

It's both.
If people have contributed from the beginning (Not Me) then they deserve some respect because they made the forum what it is today.  You have turned up in the last year or so and have proceeded to fall out with people on a fairly regular basis.  Quite unnecessarily IMO.

You can challenge people's views and opinions in a pleasant way if you are intelligent, and I believe you are.  There is enough aggravation and division in this world without bringing it into this forum.

I wrote a response to this already, but I'm going to tone it down a lot. Even so I know you're going to come after me. So be it.

But I'm going to say this: kindness matters. HOW you speak to other members of this forum, publicly, matters. I'm not sure why you feel the need to insult and belittle so many, so often.

And the thing is - you have many really good ideas. I've found myself appreciating your thoughts and perspectives many times.

I'd just love to see you move away from your current apparent model of aggression, borderline bullying, and belittling others, to one of compassion and acceptance.

It's awfully hard to hear someone - even if they are right -  when they are pushing their opinions so forcefully on others. You'll catch more flies with honey.

So what if not every one of our posts could stand up to the light of "absolute truth" or journalistic integrity? This is where we get together to air our opinions, right or wrong, founded or unfounded. It's not a court of law.

It just seems like you want to fight. I think most of us just want to talk, whether we are right or wrong. I value kindness over being right, if I had to choose. And actually, you can have both - it's not that hard.

Back to the topic - what happened in Vegas is absolutely atrocious, and I have heard some are reporting shots from the grassy knoll. Pretty sure this event could lead to stricter gun control laws, and I'm also pretty sure this wasn't a lone nut-job. Maybe a Manchurian candidate?

Sorry, but I tried reason, and I tried kindness, and what we got was people supporting a president that supports those who hate me for my skin color.

I simply don't care about what you think about me at this point.

To put it in a different way:

It matters far more to me that we have the incredibly dividing and racist-coddling force on a national level than it does whatever you think it is I'm doing. You can bitch and moan about my way of expressing myself, or you can bitch and moan about people putting that racist-coddling narcissist in power.

Nothing changes.

I have no love left to give.

Blame this division on the president's campaign and his presidency, and on all that supported him.

"We" warned you. Now you have what you voted for. Enjoy it.

Wow. OK. So it's the president's fault you respond as you do? At what point does the personal cost of being so aggressive start to catch up with you? Heartburn? Insomnia? Fatigue?

We're your brothers man. We care about you. Don't forget it. Even if you don't care that we do.

I just feel I have to reiterate this because some of you just don't get it:

- Racist anti-semites march on the streets in the US.
- They chant "Jews Will Not Replace Us" and sport Nazi flags.
- The president says there are some very nice people among them.
- David Duke and other Nazis say the president doesn't outright condemn them and see it as tacit approval.
- A neo-nazi racist kills an anti-protester.

- I'm brown. What do you think those neo-Nazis and anti-semites think of me because of my skin color?

- People then tell me that their priorities are different than mine, and that they'd vote for that president again.

Now you tell me I have to respect those people?  I know some of you won't ever see the problem.

You might, but I really don't think everyone does. To me racism and anti-semitism needs to be fought at every turn, and turning a blind eye to it due to different priorities or however you want to phrase it tells me exactly whether or not people care about others of different color.

Well...but you can't fight city hall. There are so many atrocities and injustices in the world, and if I take them all up as my cause, it will destroy me. I can't handle negativity 24/7. So, like many others, I become numb to it all, and/or block it out.

I have enough battles in my own life to fight, let alone take up everyone else's worthy causes. That's my excuse, but I imagine most people fall into this category. But lashing out at everyone also doesn't work. Is it working for you? I mean that kindly.
