What is the font used in math text books, schematics, etc?

Cambria looks pretty spot on, can't seem to find it anywhere though (to use in illustrator).

The lowercase "v" in Baskerville has a sharp point, it's gotta have that nice curvy little v.  :

Actually in photoshop, Baskerville semi bold gets it done pretty well.
