Yamaha mixer

Just picked up a MR-842 Yamaha mixer on evilbay. Found an operating manual but no schematics. Anyone know whats in the pre's or have any schematics, I just know I will want to tweak it. Wont have the mixer for a few weeks, collecting info.

Don't know if its exactly the same but it looks like the same vintage as my old MC1602 mixer. I have the schematics for it, but you may want to contact Yamaha to get the schematic for yours exactly. I think the whole service package was like USD$20.

I can scan the mic pre on the MC if you'd like and email it to you, its nothing exciting. Two BJTs in a diff pair that feed into a NJM4556 or 4558, if I remember. PM me if interested.

Doesn't Yamaha have most of their schematics available free on their website? That's where I got my PM1000 schematic, which is a super old mixer. You should check their website...

The manuals are free on Yamaha's site, but not all the manuals have schematics. The PM1000 manual does, but most others do not.
