Look in the mirror much?

I've got to question your mindreading abilities here.

Yesteryear? You mean the golden days of COINTELPRO? Yes. Glorious times, those.
Actually I do. Everyday I am disgusted by folks. Humanity as a whole is going down the tubes. But in reference to the two parties, you will find improper behavior on both sides. Most of it is questionable, some of it is actually illegal. When it is found to be illegal they should be persecuted to the fullest extent of the law. However that is hard to find these days. Best to stick to the political fodder slinging which is what they want. Don’t pay attention to the man behind the curtain.

If they're so right-wing why are they only after Trump and not Biden?
Because Trump's the criminal one? Seriously, other than your baseless paranoid fantasies, can you show me any evidence that there are more lefties than righties in the FBI, or that an organization that has always been run by a Republican is secretly in the bag for Dems?

John already said it. The FBI director came out and gave the reasons why Shrillary could not be charged for her widdl mistakes. He stated why there was nothing to forward to DOJ. It’s nothing!
The same guy signed FISA requests to surveillance Trump campaign people containing objective evidence that he knew could not be corroborated.
If he is not registered R or D, who is he helping, who is he hurting?
BTW, those FISA judges must have been paid very well to keep their mouths shut!
Ask the same question of any FBI top tier operating over the past few years? Is a group of g-men sitting on Hunters HD silently for a year helping R or D? No one saying, “ there’s some stuff here that should be investigated here”.
Really?
C’ mon, man!

a little good news (very little). While the spooks were recruiting signatures for the "Hunter's laptop is Russian disinfo" talking point letter to help Biden bluff away the laptop during his debate. They got some 50+ signatures, but another 30 or so refused to sign up to support the dishonest sham.

So there are some 30 honest(?) people in the intelligence community. Not a majority but not zero...

I'm pretty sure Hunters laptop is just a distraction, meant to keep us divided and arguing, while they spend our money...there are far more important things to be worried about.

#manbehindthecurtain :D

except for the fact that they concealed and suppressed it. If that news was widely disseminated it could have changed many votes.

I get concerned when it looks like the intelligence community is actively messing with our elections, even though we routinely give them a pass to mess with other country's elections.

Sure. Much like the trove of Hillary's emails did right before the election in 2016. Except there was nothing to those emails, and it functioned as an unwarranted attack launched by the (apparently krazy ultraliberal) FBI against a Dem candidate.

I get concerned when it looks like the intelligence community is actively messing with our elections
Sure. See above. Or maybe look at 1980.

It was the fact that she and her peeps kept them (by "them" I mean electronic communications by a sitting Secretary of State) insecure off-gov, on multiple devices, erased them, data-scrubbed them, destroyed any and all devices related to them- any of which actions would put either of us in jail.
But the Top Cop, Director of the FBI came out and said "no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case", no need for the DOJ to look at it. More silly sloppiness, folks! No intention, there. Was that helping the D or R candidate, hodie? You cannot be so blind. An impartial Top Cop would have passed it to Justice and let them decide.

And then in 2020, it wasn't enough to just sit on the HD and hope it goes away. They knew it was going to leak out. The Top Cops, the Effa Bee Eye, went to social media corps to warn them about possible "Russian interference" with a certain HD which soc-med were none to happy to squelch. They already had a lot of practice with COVID censoring and canceling.

So the good news is that our Top Cops are very vigilantly tracking our greatest national threat, according to Brandon and other Fourth Branchers, White Supremacist Domestic Terrorism™. They have a head start with an abundant crop within their own organization, according to you. Quite laughable.
No, our disgraceful, corrupt "Top Cops" are looking to run interference in a third presidential election. They get away with it now, so why stop?

They’re all corrupt. Your side more than mine.

Lots of political conspiracies around us daily. Whatcha gonna do? Vote? That doesn’t do anything if it’s all as bad as you all say. Maybe those gun-rights will protect us. Sounds more like a crumb. What we gonna do? Ball’s in our court.

What’s funny is when those conspiracies turn out to be true. But by then it’s too late, who ever first said them was written off as a loon and when it comes to light as being true is just swept under the rug like a dust ball.

They’re all corrupt. Your side more than mine.
that is a subjective call

I will continue to vote
That doesn’t do anything if it’s all as bad as you all say.
who said what?

Maybe keep voting and holster your gun...

Don't make weak arguments and maybe you'll get a more meaningful response. But don't expect me to treat fallacious folderol like it's a cleverly crafted and insightful argument.
Yet you never respond to any question. Why isn't that "right-wing" FBI all over the Hunter laptop, China dealings, and Ukraine misadventures like they were with baseless phantom grievances against Trump? Double standard.

They’re all corrupt. Your side more than mine.
I thought you didn't take sides?

Yes.
That doesn’t do anything if it’s all as bad as you all say.
It does if you talk publicly about what's going on and inform your fellow voters. If you keep voting the goons in you enable corruption.

Maybe those gun-rights will protect us.
Hopefully it doesn't come to that.

Sounds more like a crumb. What we gonna do? Ball’s in our court.
Vote. Write your representatives. Run for local office. Communicate your concerns with your neighbors. Apathy and ignorance are killing our republic. Get off the fence and stop equivocating.

… As far as we know…

Remember, the left can play conspiracy-theory just as well as the right! However, from this fence 😉, to right seems to be winning that game. After all, they do hold the lion’s share of the 24-hour “news” on radio and tv (at least); if not other medias as well (?).

Amazing. Do you believe in anything at all enough to stand up for it?
Nope. Not when it comes to politics...And that is EXACTLY what we’re discussing. Do you believe in the system enough to think you’re not being played in the political game? NOTHING in politics is as black and white or as concrete as what most people make things out to be. This is why I say the best I can do is let it play out in court. How’s that for believing in something? Even then, we all have our biases. It’s best to be highly-aware of your own and question them regularly. However, nowadays, it seems most people are either way too arrogant or too low of self-confidence that they over-compensate. Either way, it seems to manifest in extremeness and they refuse to look in the mirror to see it.

I did not specify politics in my question.

And that is EXACTLY what we’re discussing. Do you believe in the system enough to think you’re not being played in the political game?
I'm plenty old and wise enough to recognize that when it happens.

NOTHING in politics is as black and white or as concrete as what most people make things out to be.
Very little in life is black and white. That doesn't preclude making rational decisions or having values that you stand by.

This is why I say the best I can do is let it play out in court. How’s that for believing in something?
It's nothing. Meaningless. Do courts set your personal moral compass or your core beliefs?

Even then, we all have our biases. It’s best to be highly-aware of your own and question them regularly.
Of course. But if you have no grounding beliefs at all you're just a leaf blowing in the wind, soon to be compost.
