Hey guys, does anyone have the pinout for the multi-pin Mackie expansion input for a Mackie 8 bus? I need to hook up a sidecar mixer (VLZ 42-4), and I need to be able to get to the L/R bus, and the aux sends without taking up 8 inputs.
It sucks how a large format mixer w/ 56 inputs lets you insert directly into all the busses, but a small 24 input mixer doesn't. Well I guess you get what you pay for.
PS, I'm guessing the expansion inputs aren't +4 balanced, but are at whatever the internal operating level is. Is it that weird mackie Zero = Zero thing?
Any help or insight is appreciated. Unfortunately getting a real console isn't an option.
