Julian is kinda-sorta a Twitter bud of mine, and they've been recording their next album in a Portsmouth, UK music store called Nevada Music. Hence, the name of the album, Made in Nevada. This is the first song and video from the entire effort, called "No Credit":

They've been getting serious traction in the UK, including appearances on various BBC radio shows, while staying completely indie and DIY. Kudos to them, I say.

Being able to interact with people like Julian and see stories like this unfold is proof to me that Twitter is not useless at all. But that's another argument for another time.
