Total newbie SSL tranformer question

I almost dont dare to ask but here goes :?:

I've taken the transformer from my old and useless Behringer tube eq...it rates O/P 18V-0-18 V(0,23A) Will I be able to use it for the SSL clone?

Just because someone does not know how to drive a stick shift transmission, does that mean there stupid?
