Even though it's not a real CK12, I'm really interested in the double sided edge terminated capsule they have. I think it's really similar to (if not identical to) the one used the Rode NT2000, and I don't hate that mic.

It seems to me you're right. All Røde capsule designs originate from 797 anyways.

I'm not sure about the newer NT1 capsules, but I think the other models are 797 capsules or 797 backplates.

They should be. Also i believe they are related to 3U capsules. But i haven't tested.
