The earlier ice blue Perception 120 also has the medium electret; the P120 is essentially the same mic in black.

(AKG also uses the Perception name for various other mics, like small diameter condensers and wireless dynamics. But among the ones that share that large-diameter condenser body style, AFAIK only the Perception 120 and P120 are medium-diameter electrets.)

Yes, that's right, I omitted the blue Perception120, which has a 16.5mm capsule

P120 has a junk capsule in it (off-the-shelf Transound TSB165A electret; disguised behind a gold plastic ring); best mod to that mic is a capsule replacement. Any good electret will work, the circuit is flat; doesn't need a 'capacitor mod'.

I put the JLI3412 in mine; smooth, flat, no-hype response for when you want no top tip up.
