I think everyone knows this. You order something on Aliexpress and then you get something else. Sometimes it's a lucky coincidence...

In my case, I ordered this and got a TZT RK12 double-sided capsule. Bad luck or good luck?

Does anyone know the capsule, is it any good? Any experience? I paid €17.89.

It is indeed a more expensive capsule, probably even better. I have had it in my cart for some time, someone in the group talked about it.

Not yet, I've just looked at an SMPS module for tube amplifiers from the current delivery.

I'm curious to see how the capsule sounds.

This name was not specified, I just remembered the picture of the capsule. I searched at that time and it didn't look like 797 or Takstar.
But the single-side with green edge sounded good, bright but not sibilant, like a kind of c800g Fet , I tested it in a Rode NT1a with the modified headbasket. As a result, I plan to test this dual-side model as well.

I had actually ordered this one because I also like this capsule. Now I've got this one, if it sounds as good (for the price) then I'm happy.

Yes, it sounds good in flat circuit but also in u87 topology with de-emphasis. I find it very versatile.

The sound is flat, the 5K rise is not there like the center terminated style, top end is smooth. Proximity build up is not as prominent as the others I played with. It would be the first mic I reach for if I were to record a female. I paired it the the UTM0547 tranny.

I didn't design it. We make a model like this for the Chinese domestic market, but I have nothing to do with our Chinese domestic models. That's a different side of the business.

Yes I used it in a 251 styled body. It was the first capsule I used with the CCS loaded circuit. I bought that exact same one from that same seller for the correct price. I later made another mic with a cardioid edge terminated. Very natural sounding. I also have ten other mics I made with 797 Audio capsules. Five edge and five center terminated capsules. They all tend not to be as hyped as the center terminated ones, I think.
