Amek Pure Path Channel in a box... HELP!!

Hi all... So my Amek CIB's 48v just got smoked... I found the culprit, a totally fried beyond recognition c211. I couldn't find a schematic anywhere and couldn't find a number to call Amek, apparently they don't really exist anymore. Anyone else had this problem, or know what the value of this capacitor is??

I have a dozen Amek modules here ALL with shorted 0.1µF caps in them...

Seems like there might have been a dodgy batch out there...

I just bought a second C.I.B. which unfortunately turns out it has a fan inside it. My first one does not have a fan and a slightly different design SMPS.
On closer inspection it had obviously had a problem in the primary side of the SMPS as there was some reworking.
The unit works fine but seems to have an acoustic sound probably from the transformer. There seems no rework primary onwards so I am wondering if its a bad signal going into the transformer or just the transformer itself vibrating.
Not sure how to go about diagnosing the noise. Any ideas?
I can't find a serial number any where to see which was made first.
