What size are the small boards? I know that you said that they would fit into a 500 series rack (3u), these can take boards up to 135mm high by 145mm deep (maybe a few mm out, dont have the specs here).

Seems like the big board might fit onto a small board?

I'll probably make the large boards as tall as what's in a 500 series, but longer so as to add the extra components for balancing the input.

Just waiting for my camera battery to charge for visual aid.

btw, I believe the 500 series is about 150mm-149mm deep. If I ever get around to winding some inductors I have a 553 ready...

Can't go much longer on the 500 series jobbie, because of all the stuff that's nailed to the front panel.

The bigger board would have all the components laying down as opposed the original that has everything standing up.
