Apex:

I saw yours after i built mine.  But what I really want is a PCB mount version, so that I don't have to hand wire each contact.

Good going, I'm only 12+ years late to the thread! Looks like Steve @ Apex Jr ran out of these long ago..
So where do we get these bad boys? Shirly someone is making them, as they would be super-useful and I can't be the only one wanting to buy a bunch..

Simple metal L bracket and chassis mount skt will be easy to sort.

Yes, I could spend hours making tens/dozens of brackets (or 3D printing), but those are much nicer, and I want them 8>) Plus they already exist by the hundreds .. somewhere(?)

Looks like an old Florescent light mount with extra holes.

>> Sometime back in 1975, I had purchased an entire box of "Right-Angle 9-Pin PCB-Mount" vacuum-tube sockets from an electronics distributor whose name I don't remember. These "PCB-Mount Tube Sockets" were manufactured some some division of the TRW Corporation and they even had elongated and right-angled bent PCB-pins are two items of that purchase that I do remember. Somewhere here-at-home and hidden deep within the rubble of my vintage papers, is either the order receipt or the shipping label. If it weren't for the fact that digging through all of these old papers would be so time-consuming and with no guarantee of actually finding either of these papers, I'd "give it a go" to try and find it!!!

HECK!!!.....I've even considered contacting one of the companies I am familiar with that specializes in performing "metal-stampings" of small piece-parts in order to find out what it would take to create/re-create a small "PCB-mounted Vacuum-Tube Tube Socket Assembly" because I am fairly certain that there is a fairly large "unknown and pent-up" demand for such an item!!!

Maybe, one day.....

Yes, did that yesterday. It's made out of PLA, which is not adequate.
I made one with brass threaded inserts, but PLA becomes instantly liquid.
I should receive a roll of PTEG, which should be better.
I need to improve my 3D design skills, and try something like that. (I've found Bambu Labs PETG does an impressive job with mechanical parts - excellent strength, and a very fine finish).
