Building the WHAT compressor

So this thread seems pretty much dead.

But I'd love to build a couple of WHAT compressors and already have Mnat schematics and stuff. I'd really like to look into Fabio's version as well. All his files are down though and thediypill is down too.

So if any of you guys still have the schematics, bom etc. , it would be great, if you could re-upload it somewhere or send it to me.

Hi Sebastian.
At what stage are you? I gathered the materials which have been preserved on the Internet, some graphic schemes etc. But there is one problem with the element VTL5C9 which is no longer produced (you can apparently buy on aliexpres from China, but I do not know whether it is the original). In several schemes I've seen that is was used replacement NSL32SR3 (which is still available).
I'm at the stage of drawing the diagrams to make PCB in stereo. I also have a sketch from the forum where on the version of Stephen Giles someone added a modification with DRY / WET and VU Meter.  http://campistron.pagesperso-orange.fr/IMAGES/schema_modif.JPG

I have about 10 of  VTL5C9  that I don't have plans for.  PM me.

I redraw scheme for dual and added Bypass Relay,  It's still work in progres cause I'm not sure if I can use as a 1mA or 100uA meter like in GSSL? I would like to do it with Analog Metter. I Put in this scheme NSL32SR3 instead of VLC5C9 and changged resistor values like Campistron sketched here : http://groupdiy.com/index.php?topic=15069.0

an thank you - I had the weak joe files. Apparently there were some BOM and schematics by Fabio which I don't have. But it should be possible to finish the project without them.
There is no gerber files or anything like that around, right?

I think there's no gerber files to What Comppresor, or I just didn't found it on interent.

Thanks for the offer, I did redraw the schematic myself quite a while ago and incorperated most of the suggest mods by Alexc. Also I'm using the VLC5C1 which is still available. I'm about to produce the PCBs next week or so.

I need to work out a way to host the files on here, I tried renaming my ZIP file as a JPEG but that didn't work.

In the meantime if anyone interested drops me a private message I can send them over by email

Also - did anyone find the resistors that needed changing for the VTL to NSL swap?
