I have two cheap tube mics: Golden Age project TC1 - sort of apex 460 with pad and highpass
and abel of cardiod, figure 8, omni
I also have a spare Oktava 219.
I would like to take the capsule from the Oktava and put it in
one of the Golden Age mics to try it out.
Maybe its a better capsule? -
What do you think, is it worth the effort?
The Oktava is only a cardiod capsule.
What should I be aware of while doing that, I dont want to break it ?
Ive read somewhere that the oktava transformer is ok.
Will it work in the golden age mic?
