European capsule suppliers?

I ordered one of these days ago, still on the way.

I wonder, is this capsule rather flat or with accentuated treble region?

How would you describe the general sound? I might want to build an Sela T24 style microphone with it.

Thanks! Something may have to be done to counteract this in terms of circuitry. We'll see when the capsule arrives.

I usually use rlc filter tuned to the specific frequency to tame it. Rogs uses similar approach, i used it for Røde NT1 mod.

Nope, TSC-1 and 2 are produced by Takstar. Exceprional consistency, not just another generic capsule. Here are some of my measurements of these. Jules has clearly some kind of business agreement with Transound, so i gues ndaa. But these are 100% produced by Takstar. They are also found in Akg Perception mics.

Hey! Sorry for the extremely late reply. I got in touch with takstar and the capsule price itself wasn't so bad and they were really helpful with sending response graphs. However, they ask for over 40 dollars to ship it to the EU. Any idea why shipping on such a small item is so expensive?

I am waiting for some small problems to be solved and I will order Arienne capsules.
Here in Europe, we may find good capsules that they have in addition at colleagues from the group.

Honestly, I mostly bought the cheapest used microphones that contain 797, Takstar, Feilo, etc. capsules. That's how I have bodies and components. I either build or modify.
I think many do that.

VT Switzerland produces and exports their own microphones, manly for broadcasting clients. I don't know if they manufacture the capsules locally.

I just buy the CTS-12 and CTS-67 from Vami and pretty happy with the result, but I just finish the Microphone and haven't make 'real' records with them or against other microphone, so I can't say much for now...

For European supplier you can also find :
- Mic&Mod (France) sell Replica capsule
- Thomann also sell this one (T-bone) which is a K67 (cardioid only)

I have sct-700 but I replaced its capsule that sounded too harsh with one from Nova, old model (not black one).
You can find information about Maiku and M&M here in the group, I personally would not pay the asking price for them.
Maybe you can post tests with Vamisound capsules

I know there is some justified 'conflict' here with M&M and never buy from him...
But it's not his capsule but Replica one's ! aren't them good ? I see them same price on other website...
I hear good feedback about Maiku ! I'm surprise...

I will try to post some recordings with the Vami Caps, but not soon as next 3 weeks I will be out of my studio...
