Just took these quickly. Sorry they are huge! The panel is by Dan and its a beautiful job indeed. Still one or two minor tweaks and its ready. On another positive tale, I'm going to see Santana and Steve Winwood tonight! Cheers to all.
This is the final design. I'll be sending Gerbers for quote Monday. The prototype sounds so good I am building a second one (I was going to cannibalize its parts for final prototype). Not a cheap project to make, my wallet hurts!
Martin is working on the add-on preamp board. The BOM is done and verified. You can see examples of the case in the 2 previous messages.
Don't forget you will also need a power Supply (0v, +24vdc at 300ma per EQ although 250ma would be sufficient). Fivefish has a nice kit that I recommend. Owel is also supplying the little PCB for the Carnhill inut XFR. Audiomaintenance is working on putting a kit of parts together (XFRs, Inductors, Grayhills and maybe Wimas and Electrolytics plus Tantalums).
I really want this project to be 100% successful for everyone regardless of level of experience in DIY. I think I've succeeded. There is a minimum of wiring (the true and die-hard DIYers will hate me for that but it is called the EZ1084EQ after all). But of course the more experienced may want to do some things their own way and they surely can. You will nevertheless need at least a good soldering skill for this one.
Nice Gimme Gimme. I dont think anyone will miss wiring something like this trust me,in fact it's probably the biggest obstacle for most so you did a kind thing for everyone.
Its in U.S. funds. Shipping and Paypal fees extra. I'll have hopefully more details on the shipping costs as well as Paypal fees when i get on the White Market.
Thanks to all above. I've put you on the priority list for the $87.00 price.
