Float switch/mute for CAPI 2SLA

Does anyone have experience adding a Float/mute switch behind a line amp? Im building a project that utilizes CAPI's 2SLA. My idea is to control the returning level with a fader, and have a post fader fx send with option to float (or mute) the dry signal from the bus out.

My question is, what switch would be a good choice for this application, and what kind of wiring configuration am I looking at?
