Gates Sta Level Output Level - Computer Interface vs Mixer Line Input

Hey guys. Have a quick question. My Gates Sta Level was serviced quite a while ago. The output was padded down by the tech to a reasonable level. Thing is, when I plug it into my analog mixer line input it seems fine, but when I plug it into my Avid Mbox line input it's far too high and clips the input easily. Can anyone offer any advice on why this might be happening? Thanks!
